PEOPLE WAKE UP!!!!! Your cable/satellite service does not operate your TV. Stop calling the cable/satellite companies telling them you can not turn on your TV or your TV has a snowy screen. There are 3 reasons for a snowy screen: 1)your cable/satellite box is not turned on (so turn it on please), 2)your TV is off of the tuning channel(Chan 3/4) or input (video/hdmi), 3)the service is out. Please understand your TV works with or without your cable/satellite services, you may not pick up the channels you want without the services...but it still works. These companies provide you a service to watch television shows on broadcast channels. These companies do not operate your televisions.
Believe me I understand, for some of the population TV is the only source of entertainment and company some have. However, the TV is not a babysitter or your life. Read a book, Learn something new, spend some time with your family. Turn the TV off for 1 week and see how much your life improves. Give it try, you just might discover something new about yourself.
