Rather to have never loved at all?
Does love conquer all?
Is love the end all to be all?
Love the secret ingredient to a happy, healthy, joyful life
Love the precious gift one person has that can make or break you
Some people give away their love so freely
Others hold on to it for dear life, never to let go so discreetly
Some blossom into the most beautiful people in the world
Due to love poured into their souls
Others due to the lack of it
Withering their souls to die
Becoming demons and monsters everyone despises
Can you love someone so much, you smoother them to death?
Can you love so little, starvation takes hold until death takes its toll?
Love can hurt you so, until your heart becomes hard and cold
See love is like a double edged sword and a lethal dose of poison
Too much of it can cause you to drown
Where not enough can leave you starving for more and craving to be sound
We all love at different degrees
Some hard right out the gate to win the race
Some soft and meek, stepping softly as they seek
Some in the middle or in-between
With a rope around its neck to pull it back at the first sign of fret
So there are no regrets
So back to the question with the answer at stake:
Is it better to have loved and loss, rather to not have loved at all?
For my answer is yes
It is better to have loved and loss, rather to not love at all
So with each loss of love
Your love grows to reach a point of no return
To give love is to receive love
To loose love is to receive love
To not have loved is to not know yourself and the dept of your soul
See love runs deep through the sea of your veins
Providing nourishment to your soul and heart to maintain
Love is the end all to be all
The air I breathe, the beauty I see
When I look into the eyes of my soul
Love does conquer all
So the answer to the question is
To be free and love tremendously unconditionally
