“I know der is a God. I know der is a God and one day I’z was gonna get to come home. ” – Sophia: The Color Purple.
This is one of the many best lines from the movie color purple. It was the FAITH of Sophia, which kept her strong until the day she was able to come home. She desired to be with her family and the most wonderful Creator orchestrated her pathway until her release in time for the Thanksgiving holiday with the family she knew.
For many people, the wonder of our most Magnificent Creator is still a mystery. It doesn’t matter what or who you choose to call your Creator. The Creator is a Beautiful Wonder!! Many of us become caught in the web of identification for The Creator. For What? Do you really and truly need to know what the Creator looks like? If you do, look at all the wonderful things around you (people, flowers, clouds, animals, sunshine, ran, stars, and the moon). For all of these things hold the images of the Creator. Have you ever wondered about the intricate working of a flower or your own body? How is it when a tree is cut down, over the years, limbs sprout from the side of the truck left? What about yourself? Other than what you where taught in school about biology. Do you really understand how your skin heals itself? Well, take a look. Do some studying.
There is a GOD, CREATOR, or whatever you choose to call the Universe and the laws that govern our souls and life. We as spirits, having a human experience….have something called “Will.” It is that part of you, which keeps you going when it appears that all is lost. It is that part of you, which keeps you grounded when all hell breaks loose. It is that part of you, which does not allow you to give up. It is that part of you, which keeps pushing you forward. Some people want to call it motivation. But what drives motivation? From a psychological/sociological view, the creation of motivation derives from your environment and/or experiences. Really? It is so much deeper than that.
The understanding of the what, the how, the why, and the when takes maturity and the willingness to have an open mind and heart. Believe it or not….that is all GOD/The CREATOR wants from you. Take the time to connect with SOURCE, your SOURCE OF LIFE. Just connect in what is comfortable to you. If that means talk out loud and have a conversation with the air, then do it. If that means write a letter expressing yourself and tearing it up in the end, then do it. If it means keep a journal for you to go back and read later to laugh at yourself, then do it. If it means dance to the music in your head, then do it. If it means meditating for 5 minutes, then do it. If it means praying on your hands and knees, then do it. How ever you choose to connect, just do it! Don’t worry about what anyone says, does, or doesn’t do. You focus on your own connection and watch your life journey turn into something so wonderful.
It will take some time to get yourself to the point of embracing and recognizing. But once you get there…WOW! Happy Journey!!
I wish you Joy, Peace, Love, Happiness and Good Fortune!!
Think it! Believe it! See it! Do it!
